Those rusty pilings will grow up to be a green bed and breakfast one day.

They should take note of the Mikulski Center nearby.

THE PHOTO ALSO SHOWS THE PATTERNS CREATED BY THE MASONS AND THE EXPANSION JOINTS IN THE BRICK WORK.

I LIKE TO LOOK FOR THOSE PATTERNS AND THINK ABOUT HOW TO PLAY THEM UP WHEN DESIGNING.

do you think that harbor point would link up to fells point on its myspace page or would it take the "i'm too cool for you," route. Actually it could be too cool for like the whole freaking city because its trying to create a new neighborhood paradigm. Well maybe just borrowed from other trendier northern cities.

Rittenhouse Square is way cooler.

I think it would go the other way: Fell's Point would refuse Harbor Point's friend request. fell's is probably really embarassed that they're going to be neighbors.

Where's Rittenhouse Square?

Rittenhouse Square is in Philadelphia. Rockin urban environment and best view from one of the many lux apartments that surround it. Personal experience.

Bold face anonymous spends too much time looking at construction sites.

question for sevensixfive....

is New Haven better that Baltimore?

Will Bruder is best when he is pouring rammed earth walls. So smooth so clean, please provide spec section.

Is New Haven better than Baltimore? Please. New Haven barely deserves to call itself a city and would have slid off the map like Roanoke if someone hadn't decided to start a college here 300 years ago. (damn, that sounds arrogant, huh?)

anonymous, give me a hint?

The best part about the internet is the annoymous portion of it.

But seriously you have much better drawings to upload to the internet than a simple street section sketch.

How are the technology classes up there at New Haven. There is so much about the way buildings breathe that is never covered in school that I would love to explore further. Kieran Timberlake used to explore those questions before they switched the focus of the firm from detailing to mass production/ customization of architecture. If you haven't read their latest text I would recommend it. Levine Hall is really a remarkable feat of engineer, the same balance between art and technology as the worlds fair pavilions at the turn of the last century.

I am glad that Baltimore is better than something since I'll be stationed here for the next two years. Ever been to Red Maple?

Yeah, I have been to Red Maple. Baltimore, Mikulski Center, KTA ... you've gotta give me some more hints, I should be able to figure it out but I can't. Did we ever work together?
