live

New tumble(mo)blog/selfveillance experiment/work-in-progress: sevensixlive.

Right now it's just flickr+twitter+delicious-w/-notes, but the hope is to add more badges, feeds, bells, whistles, etc. in the near future.

I'm a total noob when it comes to advanced web stuff, so if anyone knows of a good starter's guide to PHP and RSS (for someone who's reasonably familiar with HTML/CSS), please let me know in the comments.

[Edit 06/21 - changed link to remixed version with more feeds]

I've used various techniques over the last year or two to get multi feed mash ups in one place, but of late I've just started using tumblr.com

Take a look, I think you'll like it... here's mine:

(p.s - Architecture Week is just in the UK!)

Yeah thanks Rob, I had actually seen your tumblog and wanted to try something similar. The eventual idea is to get right at the feeds themselves and then give them custom styles via CSS to pile them all on top of each other, but for now I'm only playing with badge scripts and stuff.

Need to learn more about dynamic web stuff.

(p.s. - for some, every week is Architecture Week! But it must be fun to have people visit your office, does the public really come through?)
